Northwest Park in San Juan Capistrano simulates the village of Putuidem, where the Acjachemen tribe first settled. Interpretive panels were needed to depict various scenes of daily life in the village. Katy created the illustrations within the circular shape, using a combination of toned watercolor paper with digital techniques.
