With over fifteen years of experience teaching drawing, painting, and visual storytelling at the college level, I have worked with artists at many stages of development.
This includes preparing students for art programs, guiding adults entering creative practice for the first time, and supporting professionals shifting into new artistic directions.
My expertise includes fine art foundations, representational drawing and painting, figure work, illustration, and children’s book development, with additional experience in character and concept exploration.
During your session, we will review your work in depth and focus on identifying your strongest areas, as well as where there is room for technical and conceptual growth.
We will look at the overall direction of your work and how it is coming together as a body of work, along with practical ways to strengthen cohesion, storytelling, and visual clarity.
You will receive clear, tailored feedback that is specific to your goals, along with guidance for portfolio development or next steps in your creative practice.
This session is designed for artists working in fine art, drawing, painting, illustration, and children’s book creation, as well as those developing foundational skills or building a portfolio.
The feedback offered is based on experience in these areas of practice and education, and is most effective when applied within this scope of work.
